SSC CGL tier One Exam tips for preparation

EXAMINATION DETAILS: SSC CGL exam is held in various dates. SSC CGL exam is prepared in 3 tier process, shown in following steps:-

It is the paper of total 200 marks and for the duration of 80 Minute with following topics.

25 Questions for one mark each question consists of: –

It is the important part of the exam and also key factors in deciding marks of students.

Topics to  focus more:– Semantic Analogy and Semantic Classification, Symbolic/Number Analogy Venn Diagrams, Symbolic/Number Classification, Semantic Series, Figural Pattern folding and completion, Mirror Image and Water Images, Number Series, Coding & de-coding, Problem Solving.

General English language:-

Another topic for scoring in SSC CLG is general English:

Topics focus more: – Blanks, Spot the Error, Spellings/ Detecting, Miss spelt words, Idioms & Phrases, Cloze Passage, Comprehension Passage, Active Passive Voice, One-word substitution.

Quantitative Aptitude:-

It plays final role in the exam of SSC CLG

Topics to focus more:- Relationship between the  numbers, Percentages, Ratio & Proportion, Square roots, Averages, Interest-Simple and Compound, Profit & Loss, Time and distance, Time & work, Decimal and Fractions, Tables  &Graphs: Frequency polygon, Histogram, Bar-diagram, and Pie-chart.

General Awareness:-  in this section, the candidates have to focus more because the questions are unexpected.

 Topics to focus more: – some of the questions that may expect questions of General science, questions from History, Geography, Polity, Economy, Current Affairs.
