SSC MTS NonTechnical Selection Process 2016-17

Staff selection Commission has released the recruitment notification 2016 for Multi Tasking Staff posts. Those candidates who are eligible and interested can apply online application form at official website. Soon SSC will be inviting applications from the eligible candidates to recruit multi-tasking staff posts. As soon it opens the registrations for applying applications candidates those who are waiting to apply can apply through online at official website of SSC.

SSC Multi Tasking Staff – MTS Exam Mode of Selection

Candidates who clear the paper I exam those candidates will be selected and shortlisted for paper II exam. The paper I cut off marks and paper II cut off marks will be different for different states and vacancies. Final selection of the candidates for each state / UT will be based on candidates performance in the SSC MTS paper I Exam and the basic cut off marks of paper II fixed by SSC. Depending on paper I and Paper II performance of the candidate final selection merit list will be prepared by the Staff Selection Commission.

Once getting selected candidates of SC ST OBC and PH based on their own merit marks without reservation will not be again share reserved vacancies. Therefore this candidate ( SC / ST / OBC / PH) will be allotted the position in the merit list based on their marks as per general and unreserved vacancies. Therefore the reserved vacancies will be provided to the eligible SC ST OBC and PH candidates.

A physical Handicapped candidate who passed the exam under reserves / relaxed standard that is the age limit, permitted number of chances in SSC MTS 2016 Exam, experience, extended zone of consideration etc. will be considered against as reserved vacancies. To put up for the deficiency in the reserved quota, irrespective of their score / rank in the order of merit marks such aspirants can also be suggested to the relaxed standards can also ask for extent the vacancies in number reserved for them.

Qualifying both exams it does not mean that they are selected until the government gives appointment letter and satisfies with all its verification about the candidates that it test whether the candidate is satisfied and suitable for the given post. SSC will maintain the record of reserve list valid for one year for reach state / UT from the date of result announcement or release of next recruitment notice which ever is first / earlier.

Resolution of Tie Cases :

If tie arises between two candidates ( that is if more then one aspirant obtains the same marks) it is solved by applying the given method below

By considering  the marks scored in Part III of the objective type paper.

If again then by considering the marks scored in Part II of the objective type paper.

If again tie arises then the date of birth of candidate will be taken into consideration such as the candidate who is older in age will be given first preference.

If again then by name of the candidate the tie will be resolved that is whose the first letter of the name comes first will be considered.
