SSC CHSL/ LDC Preparation Tips 2016 PA/SA Exam Process

As we know a huge number of candidates are preparing for the examination of the staff selection commission and one among SSC under CHEL examination  both combined  of PA (postal assistant) & shorting assistant  and here we are providing the examination pattern of CHSL: the Staff section commission combined higher secondary level of PA/SA exam pattern and this pattern is use full to the aspirants for the preparation for the examination as well as we give some kind of tips on our end that may use fully the aspirants better plan for preparation.

SSC CHSL/ LDC Preparation Tips 

The candidates who passed 10+2 are eligible for the exam even graduates and post graduates can also apply for the examination. This factor increases the computation level for the exam.

The examination process: in 2 steps

  1. Step one is written test
  2. Step two is typing test for the candidates who clear the step one

Written exam details: total marks of 200 for the duration of 2 hours.

  • 50 Questions for one each for following topics :
  • General intelligence and Reasoning ,
  • English language,
  • Quantitative Aptitude and
  • General Awareness.
  • Every subject and topic have equal importance and candidates have to focus on each and every topic.
  • Candidates have to note there –ve (NEGATIVE) MARKS OF 0.25 is there in examination

Reasoning and General Intelligence: key factors in deciding marks of students.

study more :- Coding & de-coding and Semantic Classification, Symbolic/Number Classification, Symbolic/Number Analogy Venn Diagrams, Semantic Series, Figural Pattern folding and completion, Number Series, Semantic Analogy, Mirror Image and Water Images

English language: – Another topic for scoring in SSC CLG is general English.

Study more: – Spot the Error, Blanks, Spot the Error, Spellings/ Detecting, Miss-spelt words, Idioms & Phrases, Cloze Passage, Comprehension Passage, Active Passive Voice, One-word substitution.

Aptitude (Quantitative):-It plays final role

                Study more:- %(Percentages), Ratio & Proportion, Relationship between the  numbers Square roots, Averages, Interest-Simple and Compound, Profit & Loss,  Decimal and Fractions, Time and distance ,Tables  &Graphs: Frequency polygon, Histogram, Bar-diagram and Pie-chart, time and work.

General Awareness:-  questions are unexpected.

                      Study more: – some of the question that may expect Geography, Polity, Economy, Current Affairs General science and etc

TYPING TEST: the candidates have to make sure that the typing speed must 35 words per minute are 8000 wards per hour

TIPS: practice regularly mock test, read regularly, study and plan according to the above exam manner, make sure for more and more revision of topics.
